Is the connecting element of Forky’s branches. This wall is full of names of personalities whose diet did not (or does not) contain meat in a certain period of their lives. These personalities are chosen from various fields of science, culture or sports. Nowadays, many of them deserve to promote the benefits of plant-based diet, such as Leonardo DiCaprio or Joaquin Phoenix. 

WOODY HARRELSON 

Is an American actor. Harrelson has been following vegan diet for over thirty years. He is actively involved in the fight for animal rights as he is a member of the PETA organization, with the help of which he tries to enforce the ban on pig rodeo in his native Texas. In the beginning of 2019, he joined the Million Dollar Vegan program, a campaign that endeavours to engage the world’s eminent leaders on climate crisis, animal rights and world hunger questions. He called on the pope to switch to a purely plant-based diet during the fast together with a musician Paul McCartney, actors Joaquin Phoenix and Evanna lynch and other celebrities. This initiative helped raise awareness of the Million Dollar Vegan, which was later attended by several members of the European Parliament. He appeared in a short environmental documentary, One Day a Week, in which McCartney explains the impacts of the meat industry on our planet.

JOAQUIN PHOENIX 

Is an actor and animal rights activist who has been following vegan diet since his three. His activities in a recent weeks are difficult to overlook. Joaquin was responsible for the completely plant menu of the gala dinners at the golden Golden Globes and Oscars. He won both awards in the category of the best acting performance for his portrayal of the film Joker. In his speeches, he mentioned the current disconnection of humanity from the world and the inevitability of switching to a plant-based diet in connection with the improvement of the environment and the living conditions of livestock. He is actively involved in protest campaigns for animal rights and improving conditions in the animal industry. In December last year, a documentary on this issue, The Animal People, was published, produced by Joaquin Phoenix.

MOBY

Is an American composer, singer, music producer and animal rights activist. In 2010, he published a collection of essays written by people from the food industry Gristle: From Factory Food Safety (Thinking Twice About the Meat We Eat). Five years later, he opened the Little Pine restaurant in Los Angeles, where meals are prepared using only plant ingredients. In 2016, he supported the #TurnYourNoseUp campaign to end large-scale farming.

LEONARDO DICAPRIO 

Is an American actor, producer and environmental activist. He strives to raise awareness of the climate crisis, for which he regularly uses his platform. For example, in 2016 in his speech at the Oscars, when he received an award for the best leading role in the film The Revenant. Through the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation it is supported several campaigns and organizations in their fight for climate change. Leonardo is also one of the major investors in plant products such as The Beyond Meat. He is a member of the committee of the World Wide Fund for Nature, the Council for the Protection of Natural Resources and the International Fund for the Protection of Animals. In 2016, DiCaprio acted in a documentary.

GRETA THUNBERG 

Is a Swedish climate change activist who has inspired students around the world. In 2015, she won a competition with her essay on climate change in a Swedish newspaper. A few months later, she protested in front of the Swedish parliament building. Because of this action, she gave a lead to not only university students. Students strikes around the world began with a slogan “FridaysForFuture”, which is often described as a “Greta Thunberg’s effect”. Last year, Greta continued her campaigns, participating in key climate conferences and in students protests around the world. In response to her open stand, various politicians have expressed the need to focus on the climate change issue. Wealthy US philanthropists and investors have provided almost half a million pounds Climate Rescue Fund to support the Exticction Rebellion movement and school strikes. Greta has won a number of awards and Time magazine named her one of the most influential person in the world in 2019. 

A plant-based diet is one of the easiest and the most effective ways, how to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

MILLIE BOBBY BROWN 

Is a British actress, singer and model. She is the best known for her role as Eleven – the main character in the series Stranger Things – for which Millie received several nominations and awards. A year ago, at the age of fifteen, she launched cruelty-free cosmetics, which she named Florence by Millie’s grandmother. The cosmetics were certificated as a vegan by the PETA organization. 

Milli Bobby Brown has created a limited collection of whale sneakers with the Converse brand. These sneakers should draw attention to the ocean pollution problems. Bobby Brown appeared in the film Godzilla: King of Monsters, which spreads the idea of respect for animals. “I have an enormous amount of respect for animals. And I love the way that this movie portrays animals. As much as they respect us, we should respect them.”
