Woody Harrelson

American actor. Harrelson has been eating vegan for over thirty years. He is actively involved in the fight for animal rights, he is a member of the PETA organization, with the help of which he is trying to enforce a ban on pig rodeos in his native Texas.

At the beginning of 2019, he joined the Million Dollar Vegan program – a campaign that seeks to engage the most important world leaders in the issues of the climate crisis, animal rights and world hunger.

Along with musician Paul McCartney, actors Joaquin Phoenix and Evanna Lynch and other celebrities, he called on the Pope to switch to a purely plant-based diet during Lent. This initiative helped raise awareness of the Million Dollar Vegan program, which then involved several MEPs.

In 2017, he joined Paul McCartney in the Meat Free Mondays movement. He subsequently appeared in the short environmental documentary One Day A Week, in which McCartney explains the impact of the meat industry on our planet.
